What exactly is "indie"?

The dictionary defines 'indie' as an artistic work produced by an independent company or group that is unaffiliated with a larger, more commercial organization.

To us, indie is special; indie is unique. Indie represents forward-thinking artists and designers of all genres. Indie represents those that support and love the originality that comes from these creative minds. To us, indie represents imagination.

Supporting all things indie is telling the world that creativity is a beautiful thing!

What exactly is my bonnie & clyde ?

my bonnie & clyde is a company that services, promotes, and supports indie artists & designers. Our online shop includes works by many different artists, some being sold EXCLUSIVELY by my bonnie & clyde.

But why the name, "my bonnie & clyde", you ask?

Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were notorious out-laws that refused to conform to society's rules and regulations. It's our own little tribute to those that think outside of the box, and thrive on their own independence. Anyone seeking refuge from the mainstream will always find a home, here at my bonnie & clyde.

Who sets the prices?

All prices are set by the artists themselves.

Did you see an item that has already been purchased, but YOU want it?

Many of our items are handmade, meaning they're one of a kind. However, if you see a piece that you missed out on, our artists will make every attempt to re-create that item for you! Email us; we might be able to work something out!

Do you sell custom-made pieces?

Many of our artists would love the opportunity to create a work just for you! Once again, simply email us and let us know what your fancy is, and we'll make every attempt to make your dreams come true!!!

Do you sell my bonnie & clyde gift certificates?

Do you giftwrap?

What is your Privacy Policy?

Umm...we HATE spam! (Unfortuantely, the potted meat product as well.) We don't want it in our email boxes, so we would NEVER impose it on anyone else, either. We promise to never, ever share your info with ANYONE under any circumstances. PERIOD!

May I use some images or text off of this website?

Here's the deal. This site and all of it's contents are under copyright protection. This includes
text, images, logos, etc. (Read a great article about intellectual property here.)

HOWEVER, if you'd like to use an item description, image, link, etc. to promote my bonnie & clyde in any way, you are more than welcome to! Please don't steal any of our images, since they, too, are the art of the site's owner (since she takes the majority of the photos on the site). If you have any doubt or would like permission to use, email us & we'll figure it out. We love to help people out; please clear any usage with us first.

How often do you update the site?

Pretty darn often! We're new, and we're still expanding the company. We like to add an artist or work as soon as
they sign up.

Is there a company disclaimer?

We believe in the free creative expression of art and our artists, although they do not necessarily reflect the beliefs of my bonnie & clyde. It is not our intention to offend any individual or audience regarding background, creed, religious or political beliefs, race, sex, etc. We pre-screen every item on the site, and make every attempt to keep our website "family friendly", while still promoting artistic individualism of any form.
